Christmas 2009 has arrived!
We went it to wake Payton up around 6:45 so he could see if Santa had come to visit him at Meme's house. We had put him to sleep on the couch and had been pleasantly surprised that he had slept through the night. We found him sleeping soundly, on the floor, with no blanket or pillow when we went to wake him up on Christmas morning.
Payton and Daddy found some Carolina Blue snowman PJ's in his Tarheel stocking.
They also found a new puzzle and some new clothes.

Payton also found that Santa had left him a new dump truck named Chuck. Chuck talks and drives!
Payton got to enjoy his Santa surprise for a few minutes and then it was time to get ready to head to Mawmaw's with the rest of Meme's family for Christmas breakfast. We were happy that Meme was feeling better and able to celebrate Christmas Day with us!
