Home Sweet Home!

How much can you pack into a Tahoe?
A LOT!
Good thing Payton doesn't need any leg room yet!
We traveled back to Mt. Pleasant on Monday. Luckily we were both off for one extra day to extend our holiday a little more. We still got home late and felt rushed heading into the week but it was worth it!

As we were heading home, Chad and I had a few discussions about how our holiday went and laughed a little at how we would manage to make it home (sanity intact) with a 70 lb yellow lab, a 2 1/2 year old and a 6 month old. We will definitely require an additional luggage carrier - in addition to the trailer and 2 35 gallon containers we used this year. We also determined that, yes, although it does stress me out to plan, prepare, and pack; get extra time off work around the holidays; and to wonder how Santa will find his way to Sherrills Ford or East Bend with Payton's presents; yes, it is indeed worth it in the end! I said we should go ahead and post that on the refrigerator so that when I start questioning the craziness next year I will be reminded that we said, YES, it is worth it in the end! On top of that, if I found myself sitting at home with Chad, Payton, Bailey and Baby Webb #2 on Christmas Eve knowing that the rest of my family was eating chicken pie, making fun of each other, going to Christmas Eve service, and making memories without me I would be one very depressed little girl! So, when November roles around, remind me of all these facts...and help me figure out how to pack...and maybe slip me a few anti-anxiety meds...and again, I'm sure I'll say, YES, it is all worth it in the end to celebrate my favorite time of year with all of our most favorite people!
