My special card from Payton and Owen had a big #1 Mom sticker that Payton wanted me to wear...I had been a very good girl so I got a sticker just like he gets at school when he is good all day long!

My birthday was a little bitter sweet. We were surrounded by all of our family members. We took Owen to the doctor for a weight check on Monday morning - he was up to 7 lb 6 oz. That was a GREAT present for me because it meant I could be a little less stressed about our feeding scheduling, pumping and supplementing. Chad's parents left shortly after we got back home. My parents stayed through dinner and then headed home. They will be back in a few days but went home for a quick break in between. My mom will be here next week when I need her more. Chandra and Calyn stayed until Wednesday to help out.

Aside from having to say goodbye to my family, my 29th birthday could not have been any better! What could be better than celebrating a birthday surrounded by family and my 3 favorite boys! Owen is most definitely my greatest birthday present ever!

happy birthday, jess! i can't believe we'll all turn 30 next year...really weird - but good! i'm doing good - heard baby's heartbeat tues. and all is well...oh, and i already read belly laughs and loved it! owen is adorable! hope all is well! talk to you soon.
