Chad and I were so excited to get to meet our newest bundle of joy. Having a scheduled c-section made it a much better experience than our first few hours with Payton.
We were all smiles as Dr. Evans worked to bring our happy, healthy baby boy into this world!
He arrived at 8:33 am! Chad immediately commented on his head full of dark hair. At this point, Chad was able to leave my side to go around and be with Owen. Luckily, the anesthesiologist was there to keep me informed with what was happening in the room (and blot my tears of joy!!).
I was able to meet Owen briefly before he was taken to the nursery. Chad went with him to the nursery. A little later, they were both able to join me in recovery. Our first few minutes alone with him were so special!

Chad was able to capture some great pictures while he was with him in the nursery and helped with his footprints!
They brought him to me in the recovery room once I was stable enough to hold him. I was so happy to have him in my arms again!
We finally made it to our room. Unfortunately, I got a little nauseated after leaving the recovery room and was sick off and on through the day on Wednesday. I didn't feel great but holding Owen in my arms made me feel much better!!

Proud Papa! Wonderful husband and father! He has been an angel through 2 c-sections! He finally got a chance to sit down and relax with his second son!
What a wonderful way to start a day!!
