The Little Gym

On Friday we tried out a free session at the Little Gym of Mt Pleasant.  We had previously considered joining and attending classes on Friday mornings so we wanted to go see exactly what these classes were all about.  Although I think Payton had fun, I'm not sure we will be returning for classes.  The class started off with bells and singing, then we played on a big blow up mat, we moved on to standing, playing on the uneven bars, the balance beam, with big bright balls, and finally we ended with bubbles and singing a story.  While it was all very exciting, Lindsey and I seemed to agree that the whole experience wasn't necessarily for us.  Who knows, we may find ourselves back at The Little Gym in the future.  Payton did learn to do a forward roll and continues to enjoy doing this at home.

Payton and Ella practice standing with a little assistance from a bar on the floor.

Look at these two!  It won't be long before they take off on their own!
Payton's favorite - a big, bouncy, ball!  After the balls were all put away he kept crawling back over to them trying to get one back out!  Would this be considered nature or nurture?  I have to think its in his genes!

After our early morning class at Little Gym, Lindsey and I headed downtown with the babies.  Lindsey is currently planning a walk as a fundraiser.

We walked the walk route and then headed in to downtown to eat lunch.  We had a great lunch at Southend Brewery - the babies split a side of gouda Mac N Cheese - something tells me it was better than Easy Mac!  They gobbled it up!  Payton also had a big helping of mandarin oranges from Mommy's salad.

After lunch we decided to make a detour to Waterfront Park.  We were going to take some cute pics but once we arrived Ella was snoozing.  They were tired after the eventful morning!

Here they are, bundled up and sleepy in front of the pineapple fountain.
It was another great Friday with Lindsey and Ella!  In fact, we had SO much fun that we decided to meet Matt, Lindsey and Ella for dinner!  We just couldn't get enough!  We enjoyed the adult interaction!
