Lowcountry Weekend

It was a beautiful weekend in Charleston!  Saturday proved to be another busy day for the Webb family.  The day started with a little yard work...much needed I might add!  Payton enjoyed playing on the porch in his exersaucer while we worked in the yard.  After lunch, we headed out to do a little shopping.  Its almost time for Payton to move up to a BIG boy carseat.  We purchased two - one for Mommy's car, one for Daddy's car.  After spending a small fortune on baby supplies, we were off to a Charleston Carolina Club event on Daniel Island.  We were happy to find a few fellow Heels fans to watch the game with.  We were very disappointed with the outcome!  We didn't let that slow us down though!  After the pathetic loss, we headed to Andrew and Laura's and eventually to dinner at Poe's on Sullivans Island.  I know some of you are very jealous at the mention of Poe's.  As soon as you come visit, we'll go back!

Sunday has been another busy day (and its still not over!).  We attended church at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian again.  I think I enjoyed this service even more than the first.  There were at least 50 children at children's time (Chad says more like 70!).  It is nice to see a few familiar faces on Sunday.  Payton seemed to enjoy the nursery - he was crawling and smiling when we picked him up.  After church, Payton got a special treat - his very own bowl of Broccoli Rice casserole at Barbara Jean's.  Since Chad and I aren't eating such tasty dishes, we enjoyed watching Payton get his first taste!

Once we made it home, we did a little cleaning.  Payton still LOVES the Dyson.  Today, as Chad vacuumed, Payton played beside him with his toy vacuum.  I do love to hear it sing "I'm going to clean the house today, do da, do da!"

I snapped a few shots of Payton in this little outfit.  I could barely get it on him today so I doubt he will be able to wear it again!  He's been wearing it since November so I can't complain!  He did look so cute in it today!
Payton has learned to clap.  When we say "Yay!" he claps!  When he sees others clap (like at the game yesterday), he claps!  When Bailey eats her treats, he claps!  It is adorable!
Payton has graduated!  Although we are still using Stage 2 and 3 foods from time to time, Payton has officially proven that he can eat big boy foods!  Tonight he had Pasta Pickups.  He enjoyed them!  He has also started eating diced fruits and vegetables.  My little baby sure is growing up quickly.
Payton says Yum Yum!  We don't always use the full body bib, but I didn't want to ruin his white shirt.  I thought Holly might enjoy a nice outfit to borrow for Baby Kyle!!  In fact, we found Baby Kyle several things as we cleaned the nursery today!
Finally, our busy weekend is coming to a close.  As we head back to work, Payton will hang out with Miss Cindy and Ella.  Chad will only be gone one day this week - we are happy for this!  We are looking forward to our weekend trip to Chapel Hill.  Hope the Heels can pull out a win!  We hope you all have a wonderful week!
