Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Thanksgiving came and went quickly this year.  We were getting ready for Christmas by the 1st of December this year.  With 2 boys, one of them a very exciting toddler, we had a lot to look forward to with Christmas in 2010.

We started our holidays with a special members only night at the SC Aquarium (thanks Grandma and Grandpa).  The Aquarium did a great job with the evening.  We got to see Santa for the 1st time, toured through the aquarium and saw a few of our favorite exhibits, were able to decorate our own Christmas cookies, and got to experience seeing The Polar Express in 4-D.  That was definitely our favorite part of the night!  The Polar Express quickly became Payton's favorite bedtime story!  We'll be looking forward to the Aquarium's holiday event next year!
Payton and Owen with Santa Claus...no tears this year!  Woo hoo!!

Owen is ready for the show!  The 4-D experience included ice and snow which scared Owen just a little!

Payton remembered the 4-D shows from Disney and was really excited to see The Polar Express.  After the movie, they had a bell for each of us ("The 1st gift of Christmas" for those of you not familiar with the story).  Payton kept his bell by his bed for the rest of the Christmas season.

The 1st weekend in December we enjoyed a holiday party at the Jordan's.  Thanks Amy and James for having a great get together with friends and all the kids!  The smores were a big hit too!
At Amy and James' house for our 1st Christmas party of the season.

Owen and Payton share a few smiles during our bedtime routine!
