Dear January -
I had SO many great goals to share with you. I had goals for work, home, family, projects, weight (weight loss more importantly), exercise, budgets, church, organization, blogging. I did not plan for illness, travel, or excessive amounts of work. It is amazing to me that these few unplanned "events" threw me so off course. I am (once again) home sick today - and although I'm starting to feel better, I have NO voice...difficult for me to function at work! I have worked from home for most of the day and hopefully have survived yet another sick day without too many problems for my patients or co-workers. I did miss the weekly meeting - that I lead - but did email in all my notes with 45 minutes to spare...that counts for something doesn't it?? So, I'm finished with work, I'm feeling a little better, I finally managed to get a little food in my system and I am here trying to blog. What I realize now is that not only did I not have much time to blog this month but I apparently did not have time for pictures either.........collective gasp.........I have a few, but none of the great blog worthy pictures I was hoping for. January - we have almost survived you - and my goals will have to move on to February. Survival mode for a working Mom is tough! I'm looking forward to pushing through survival mode in the month of February and tackling some of those bigger projects...and having a little extra time to snap a few pictures of my kids....we have 3 cameras after all!
January, I hope the last week I spend with you goes well. February, Bring it on!
With much love -
A currently sick, over-worked, often overly stressed, happy mother of 2 who would not be sane if it were not for her husband who has been "working from home" for the past 3 weeks...who, while complaining, realizes life could be a lot worse....so, if being sick off and on for the past 4 weeks (all 4 of us) is my biggest health challenge of 2011 than I thank you...but continue to pray for a fever-free, snot-free, antibiotic-free, vomit-free, strep throat-free home for the month of February :)
