Charlie and Owen

Andrew and Laura moved here the same week we did...back in 2007...WOW!  We were so lucky to have found each other...and for a while, it did seem that they were our only friends (I think they were our only friends).  We have had dinner with them most weeks since moving here.  We were so happy to find out they were pregnant with baby Charlie...and that Owen and Charlie would only be a few weeks apart.  Charlie arrived a little earlier than expected but they are still only about 7 weeks apart.    Unfortunately, with the addition of Charlie and Owen, our weekly dinner meetings have grown a little further apart.  We have missed them...for dinner and for watching Carolina games!  

We were happy to have them over last weekend for pizza and a little playtime for the kids.  Now that Charlie and Owen have passed that 6 month mark - they are starting to interact, babble, and play - things will get very interesting now!  Payton loved playing with both of them too - I can't wait to see what happens once they can walk or catch a ball - Payton will be really excited when that day arrives!

I hope we can continue our "weekly" dinners so that Charlie and Owen can grow up as friends and fellow Tarheels.
