Big Day for Payton!

Payton had Cindy all to himself today. Ella's Mom, Lindsey, has started working from home on Mondays. Hopefully it will work out for her. I'm jealous of her extra day home with Ella....even though I know she's working! Cindy was able to take Payton for a walk around the neighborhood and she gave him applesauce for her first time. Today is the first day he has had baby food twice in one day. He should be packing on the pounds now!! She says he said "ma ma" today...I'll have to hear it for myself! However, tonight Chad and I both heard his first sentence...we didn't understand it but it was definitely 6-7 words long. We're pretty sure he said something about needing to use the bathroom....which is possible because he had an entire container of prunes for dinner! He loved them! Prunes and sweet potatoes are tied for his favorites for now. His Great-Nannie Helen would have been so proud!

Payton also "crawled" tonight. It may have only been one actual motion of crawling but it was forward progress. Instead of scooting backwards like he did all weekend he started scooting forward tonight. His favorite objects to "crawl" to were Daddy's cell phone and Bailey.

Chad has to go out of town Wednesday - Thursday so we hope Payton doesn't officially crawl while he is gone. We don't want him to miss it! Tonight was bath night and Payton played with his new bath toys for the first time. He enjoyed chewing on the crab and the turtle!

Here are a few more pictures from yesterday. The first is of Payton at Poe's in his first "restaurant" high chair...he's trying his hardest to get the nachos! He chewed on the table a little later! Don't worry, I pre-cleaned the area!

Grandpa, Payton, and Grandma at Poes. Don't you like the bib!!

What is this white stuff Grandpa? Doesn't it come off?!?!

One last shot before they hit the road. Look at that smile! He is such a happy boy....always!Payton had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa. He can't wait to see them and jump and scream for them again soon!

Grandma and Grandpa had such a wonderful visit with all of you.
We enjoyed picture day, pumpkin patch, jumping in the toy, watching Payton try to crawl and laugh and play. He is such a blessing. He is a very good little fellow. We love him so much.
Thanks again for the visit.
Love to all, Mom and Dad
