Sick visit!

Seems like our big weekend may have left all 3 of us a little under-the-weather. Unfortunately, it seems to be affecting Payton most of all. He actually woke up Friday morning at Kade's with a runny nose and a cough but seemed fine through the day on Friday and Saturday. This continued through the weekend and this morning I decided it would be best to take him to the doctor. I didn't worry until last night - he slept all the way back from Chapel Hill (nearly 4 hours in the car) and at 7:00 was ready to go to bed. He slept late this morning, woke up, had lots of congestion, ate, and went right back to sleep for an hour. Very unlike him! Chad and I have a sore throat and lots of sneezing too! Dr. Linker left it up to me to decide if I want to try antibiotics or not. As of now, I haven't used them. I will see how he does tomorrow. Dr. Linker thinks it may be a common cold or could be a combination of a sinus and/or ear infection. The antibiotics will do nothing for the cold symptoms - if they don't seem to be clearing up by tomorrow I'll consider the antibiotics. He seemed a little better as the day progressed. He did not a have a fever when he went to bed. The baby who never cries was a little fussy today!
For those of you looking for Chapel Hill post, please be sure to read all 3 blogs....there were so many pictures I had to split them up! Also, Payton started saying "da da da da da" yesterday morning at Kade's. He has continued saying it all day! We've been practicing "ma ma ma ma" and "ba ba ba ba" for Bailey. I'm convinced Bailey (or some form of that) will be his true first word...he just loves her so much!
Enjoy all the reading from our big weekend in Chapel Hill. Unfortunately, the Redskins and Panthers lost yesterday....but the Dodgers won! Their series is now Phillies 2, Dodgers 1...They're playing now, down 1 in the top of the 2nd, and we're hoping they win one tonight!
