Pumpkin Patch

We made our first trip to Boone Hall Farms to look for Payton's first pumpkin. We were hoping to go into the actual pumpkin patch but decided not to when we realized it was $5 per person (even for Payton) we decided to use their already picked section for some photos. It was a perfect day in Charleston for pumpkin picking! Payton was a true country boy for the day. We sat him in front of a hay bale and he quickly grabbed a piece of straw to chew. I let him chew away...I figured Chad and I had both chewed on plenty of hay in our life and we survived! Now that I've learned that children raised around farms and livestock have less allergies I'm trying to expose him to all those elements!

Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed seeing Payton in the pumkin patch as well. This was also the first time he used this stroller without his carseat attached. Such a big boy!

Notice he still has his same piece of straw. He really seemed to like it! There were two little girls picking out their pumpkins who came to "pet" the baby in the middle of our photo shoot. Payton didn't seem to mind!

Family photo. We aren't usually able to get many family pictures so we took advantage of Grandpa being here to snap a few. Unfortunately, Payton was done with pictures by this point and would not smile for Grandpa.

Payton's first halloween treat!

Grandma came to town with treats to spoil Payton. This bag was filled with new bowls, bath toys, two books, a candy corn bear, bibs and another osh-kosh outfit complete with a new jacket for the cooler months. We are so happy to have a second option! Payton was playing on the floor and actually pulled the tissue and most of the gifts out of the bag all alone! He must love presents like his mommy! Actually, it was the tissue that he liked the most so please just give him bags of tissue in the future!! It was good practice for Christmas. He really seemed to like this book....it went straight to his mouth. Thanks grandma for the great Halloween treats! Next year I'll be ready for chocolate and candy corn!

I nearly forgot the mention the big win over UConn for the Heels....4-1...can you believe it!!!! The Dodgers had a big win over the Cubs to advance to the NLCS. Big day for the Webb family! We'll be watching the Redskins vs. Eagles today at 1:00.

I loved Payton in the pumpkin patch. Straw is good for all growing boys and girls! He is getting so big to sit in the stroller and high chair at Poe's. I am also glad he likes prunes. He has some things like Meme! I look at his pictures at least three times a day and sometimes drop a tear wishing I could see him. Love You All
