Game Day in Chapel Hill

We had a very big day on Saturday. Payton amazed us throughout the day. He must really be the best baby ever! We started our day around 10:30, heading over the tailgate with everyone prior to the 3:30 game. We knew it was going to be a long day and we were prepared for anything! I made a huge spot on the ground for Payton to play on and we had his stroller which is where he finally took his nap. Kade had a TV with HD set up for us to watch other games through the day...yes, I said a TV with HD. It was really awesome!

After spending some time outside, we went into the Dean Dome with the Hoots family and Kade and Jenny. We were able to watch a few minutes of pick-up and snap some wonderful pictures. Payton seemed to really enjoying the bouncing of the ball. Thanks to Eric, we were even able to take Payton into the locker room for some cute pictures.

We hope to spend lots of time in the Smith Center as a family. Section 221, K here we come!

Eric is already teaching Payton all he knows about basketball...Payton will know all the plays before the end of the season if he hangs around his Dad, Kade and Eric enough. Unfortunately, we weren't able to make it to the "perch." See how happy Payton looks - He's such a big fan already!

We're in! Payton is practicing his crawling skills on top of the pool table in the Heels locker room. He has know idea how priveledged he is!

Who's chair is he in? That would be Tyler's chair in front of Tyler's locker. He's just chillin'! He nearly took a nose dive onto the floor! Somehow, I doubt Tyler has so much extra room in the chair!

With an assist from Eric, Payton is lifted to the top of Tyler's locker. I'm pretty sure Payton will have his own locker in there one day! He's got skills....and surely there will always be room for another Wes Miller! He's already got a 6 inch vertical and a left handed shot...kinda!

Payton's favorite person of the day....Johnny's dad, David. He seems to love him!
