Payton has officially taken his first steps. Unfortunately, I missed the big moment. Chad had just arrived at Matt and Lindsey's to pick Payton up and he decided to let go of a big exercise ball and walk toward a little ball. They said he did this twice and took about 5 steps each time. Mommy has tried to recreate the situation and get Payton to walk for her. No such luck. Oh well, it will come soon enough!
In other news, we were lucky enough to get two last minute tickets to the UNC vs. LSU game in Greensboro on Saturday (this still does not make up for the Duke tickets I did NOT get while at UNC...in case any certain person is wondering). Tomorrow morning after the walk we are participating in we will head north once again. If we were being rational, we would realize that we do NOT have time to go to the game; however, the college basketball fans in us seem to outweigh the rational adults. It is March Madness after all! Hopefully the Heels will make it worth our "quick" trip to Greensboro. Payton is happy that he will get to see Meme, Pawpaw, Chandra, Allen, Calyn and Carson while we are there.

Payton wasn't near as happy as I was that he was coming! I was so lucky last night-I had both of my little boys spending the night with me! I was so sorry my big boy was sick. Payton send mommy and daddy to a lot more places so we can have you! Love you all!
