I am so happy to be sitting on my couch this Thursday night. It has been a very busy week. Chad had to go out of town Monday and will not be back until tomorrow. I am used to him being gone at least one or two nights each week....but every night proved to be a challenge. I am truly exhausted and admire all the single mothers and military wives out there!
Here is a glimpse at my schedule:
Monday - home from work at 6:00, feed Payton 6:00 - 6:20, let Bailey out in the meantime, roll the trash out, change diaper, change my clothes; 6:30 - leave for my workout session; 6:45 - 7:30 workout, while Payton is contained in his car seat and watches somewhat willingly; 7:45 - finally back home; 8:00 Payton's bedtime milk; 8:30 Payton to bed after a few books; 9:00 I get to sit down to eat after feeding Bailey....long day!
Tuesday - wake up at 5:50, 7:15 drop Payton off, and repeat...minus the workout
I don't need to continue....just thankful to have Payton asleep and be able to relax for a few minutes while watching a little of the NCAA tournament and hopefully sleep-in a bit tomorrow!
On top of Chad being away, I started a new job at MUSC on Monday. I am now back at MUSC Monday through Thursday. My days are longer and my stress level is higher...another plus! Thankfully, I still have my Fridays!
Tomorrow, Miss Cindy is working an extra day. I am taking advantage of this so I can get a hair cut and some color. I am 8 weeks past due from my previous appointment...as in the one I had to cancel. I last had my hair cut prior to Thanksgiving! Scary! It is past time for this!
