LET'S GO COUGARS!
Thanks to Andrew, we were able to take Payton to his first baseball game on Tuesday night. The College of Charleston hosted USC at Patriots Point on Tuesday night. We had great seats and although it was a little chilly and the Cougars lost, we had a lot of fun and plan to head back to a game very soon! Of course, this is another sport that Payton seemed to enjoy. As soon as he saw the field and the baseball he said "ball." He also enjoyed playing with a small plastic megaphone.
Chad and Payton taking in a little of the game. After the game, we headed home to put Payton to bed for the last time as a "baby." At 12:23 am, he officially turned one year old! I had to stay up late to get his special birthday outfit ready and decorate the house a little. Payton had his normal story time and two special birthday prayers. I must admit that I was a little emotional as I put Payton to bed. I just can not believe how quickly the year has passed by!
