The party would not have been complete without ice cream to go with the cake. Payton's first taste of ice cream was homemade strawberry ice cream...he loved it and he wanted more!
After a good night sleep, he tried a few more new things - Chocolate Milk and 2 Sweet Sixteen Doughnuts
That makes for a complete breakfast...doesn't it??
After breakfast, half of the family headed back to East Bend. We had lunch with Chandra, Allen, Calyn, Carson and our parents at Poe's. Chandra and Allen had to head back home after lunch. Our parents stayed through Sunday night. We enjoyed an afternoon wagon ride while waiting for the UNC vs. Oklahoma game.
Payton loves to ride in his wagon. He holds on with both hands as we go and he laughs when he feels the wind in his face. He loves to feel a breeze. As you can see, he was ready for the big game in his uniform - finally warm enough to wear his jersey and shorts!
We were happy to see another UNC win! The Heels are on their way to the Final Four in Detroit. I'm very happy to report that the Webb's are on their way to the Motor City as well! Chad and I will be heading to Detroit on Friday morning. We hope to see 2 games and 2 victories! Payton will not be traveling with us - we hate to leave our little man behind but we know he will be just as happy watching "ball" on TV.
