Saturday morning started with an early morning trip back to downtown Charleston. The rain drops started falling on our drive downtown but faded away after we found a parking spot. Luckily, the rain held off for most of the day! We were able to take our family through the Charleston market. After finding a few souvenirs, we walked up Market street to the candy shop, Market Street Sweets, one of my favorite spots!
Payton had his first taste of fudge - mint chocolate.
He has his mouth full! He was mad when his sample was all gone!
Everyone else had fun choosing between the large selection of candies - fudge, praline pecans, and peanut butter cups.
After spending a few hours downtown, Payton and I had to head back home. Payton needed lunch and a nap to get ready for his party. Mommy had a few last minute preparations before the party guests arrived.
Chad took the rest of the family on a driving tour of Sullivan's Island and the Isle of Palms. They ended at Boone Hall Farms store. They were all very impressed with the peanut butter made at the store. I think everyone bought a little to take home! I didn't see it in person, but I heard there was a line of 15 waiting for a peanut butter sample!
