Birthday Boy!

Happy Birthday Payton...my most favorite little basketball fan!!

I hope each day of your life will bring as much happiness and joy as today has given you.  The basketball goal might be your favorite present EVER.

We have had such a wonderful day together - a wonderful morning birthday surprise with this "big boy" basketball goal, a great morning at church, a tasty lunch and an afternoon playing outside on our new, big, brand new goal!  Grandma arrived a few hours ago and the rain has forced us into the house where we are anxiously awaiting the start of the UNC vs. Kansas game.  The perfect end to Payton's special day would be a Tar Heel win and a trip to the Final Four.  

If they lose....we'll be sad....but we've finally got our own "Dean Dome" outside...we'll start getting ready for next year!
