Today, I am thankful for so many things and I realize the many of the blessings I have in my life - from the little things to the big things - I am so very thankful! Tonight, I'm thankful that I am finished with my work week! I have LOTS to do tomorrow in preparation for the upcoming weekend and next week. It was a looooonnnnggg week both personally and professionally. I have been reminded (yet again) to be thankful for each day and count your blessings often. It only takes one second to completely change your world. Tonight, I want to share a few photos of things I am thankful for in my life. This will also give me a chance to get caught up on a few photos that I haven't been able to share over the past few months.
I am THANKFUL for:
Family
This is a picture of several of Chad's family members. In January we traveled to NC to surprise Chad's parents and Calyn and Carson for the weekend. We were able to see both Calyn and Carson play basketball. I took this picture of everyone in the stands. Chad's entire family, as well as my family, are a huge support to us and I am so thankful that I was blessed with a second family who loves and supports our family each and every day. From his parents to his sister to his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins...we are all so very thankful for each of you and the constant impact you have on our life!
My niece, Calyn
Without her, I would never have a niece! She is an amazing teenager (ah!) and has been blessed with so much at such a young age. She is going to do great things with her life!
My sweet nephew, Carson
Without him, I would never have a nephew! Carson is a bigger version of Payton - full of energy and full of love! Loud and living life to the fullest. You just have to love him! Of course, I'm also thankful for Chandra and Allen....I just didn't have a picture of them to share!
Friends
Without them, I would be lost!
I love my "old" friends - old friends are the best friends - but I am so thankful for all of our "new" friends. Of course, they aren't all pictured here but this is my most recent picture of a group of our friends at the Jimmy Buffet concert. We truly have the greatest group of friends here and life in the lowcountry would not be the same without each and every one of them. We are so blessed to have them by our side and for our children to grow up together.
Sports
We love sports around here...all of them!
Enthusiasm
Such enthusiasm...all the time! Oh, to live more like a child!
Chad, a wonderful husband
Thankful for every single aspect of this wonderful man. An amazing husband and father who brings so much to my life and impacts so many others every single day. Without his help and support, I could never make it!
My parents
Only Grandma made this picture, but obviously without the support of both of my parents I would not be the person I am today. Thankful for being raised in a loving, Christian family where I was given more love, happiness, laughter and opportunities than I can even comprehend. Thanks!
Payton and Owen
They remind me of my true purpose in life. Some days are tough....but some days with smiles like these make it all worthwhile. I am so thankful for the unending love they bring to my life. There is no love like the love you have for your children and I am eternally grateful for these gifts from God!
| Brotherly love on Valentine's Day |
| XO XO XO XO |
Family Time
Every single second of it....love being with my boys more than anything else!
Of course, my sweet Bailey
And, I know she is thankful for us...she greets us with a smile and a wagging tail even on her worst days!
